- Multirooted Teeth Extractions:
- Cryer elevators are particularly effective in removing roots of multirooted teeth (such as molars), especially after the tooth has been sectioned. The triangular blade fits into the socket and applies upward leverage, dislodging the root.
- Fractured Tooth Extraction:
- In cases where a tooth has fractured during the extraction process, the Fig 27S Cryer can be used to remove the remaining root fragments by wedging between the root and the alveolar bone.
